Role Overview
Uncia is seeking a seasoned and visionary Sales Leader to spearhead our enterprise sales strategy in India across Lending, Supply Chain Finance, and AI solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building long-term strategic relationships with financial institutions and fintech ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, executive presence, and a proven ability to close complex, high-value enterprise deals while leading and scaling high-performance sales teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Leadership & Market Expansion
- Own and deliver India revenue targets aligned with Uncia’s strategic growth objectives.
- Develop and execute a multi-year go-to-market strategy across Banking, Digital Banking, and Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs).
- Identify new growth corridors, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem alliances to accelerate market penetration.
- Drive large, complex, consultative sales cycles from prospecting through closure.
2. Executive Relationship Management
- Build and sustain CXO-level relationships (CBO, CIO, CISO, Heads of Business, Heads of Collections, Digital Heads, etc.).
- Position Uncia as a trusted strategic partner
- Lead executive discussions around digital transformation, risk management, AI adoption, and lending modernization.
3. Enterprise Deal Strategy & Governance
- Lead high-value deal structuring, commercial negotiations, and contract governance.
- Ensure strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined CRM governance.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Delivery, Pre-Sales, and Leadership teams to craft winning proposals.
4. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing enterprise sales team.
- Establish clear KPIs, performance discipline, and coaching frameworks.
- Foster a culture of accountability, consultative selling, and customer-centricity.
5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
- Provide strategic insights on market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscape.
- Influence product roadmap and solution positioning based on client and market feedback.
- Represent Uncia at industry forums, leadership roundtables, and strategic events.
Experience & Skills:
- 15+ years of progressive enterprise sales experience, with significant exposure to Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.
- Demonstrated success in closing large-ticket enterprise software or SaaS deals.
- Strong understanding of lending lifecycle, collections, risk, and digital transformation initiatives in Indian financial institutions.
- Proven experience leading and scaling enterprise sales teams.
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making ability.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
