What you will do
The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing product architecture that meets client business requirements by gathering needs, understanding detailed specifications, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver optimal outcomes. This role will serve as the key interface between clients, users, and project managers, ensuring the best possible solutions are provided based on requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, modifying, and testing product and solution architecture
- Define high level architecture and designing for the assigned scope that provides solutions to deliver great business outcomes and meets our long-term strategy
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions. Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates
- Define and communicate a shared functional and architectural vision of end-to-end product design.
- Work closely and provide inputs to delivery team for implementation and convert functional specs into technical specs and deliverable product, monitor for successful progress of project implementation.
- Provide sign off on developed product / project implementation (to confirm in line with the specs)
- Work with stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented, provide supervision and guidance to development team as & when needed
- Interact with support and project teams to understand gaps and take up requirements for future releases.
- Review User Manual and test cases prepared.
- Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have
- Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope
- Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets
- Engage with customers, Sales team to understand current trends of the market to get to understand the current market requirements
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Analyse current products used within the company and determine ways to improve on solutioning.
- Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field. MBA degree will be a plus.
- Strong understanding of the banking/fintech landscape.
- Strong experience in system and product architecture in both the Lending and Loan Management System domains is mandatory.
- Experience working with both waterfall and agile methodology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross – functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
