Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to build and scale Uncia’s digital lending platform. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the banking/lending domain, deep coding expertise, and significant contributions to AI in real-world application development. This role is best suited for someone passionate about solving complex problems, writing production-grade code, and embedding AI into core business workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable banking & lending solutions (LOS/LMS platforms)
• Actively contribute to hands-on coding (50%+) across backend and frontend
• Build robust backend systems using .NET Core, Web APIs, and Microservices architecture
• Develop a responsive UI using Angular or React
• Drive AI integration into applications, ensuring real business impact
• Solve complex technical challenges with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Contribute to system design, architecture, and performance optimization
• Ensure high-quality code through reviews, testing, and engineering best practices
• Support cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines (Azure/AWS)

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7-12 years of experience in software development
• Strong experience in the lending domain. Proven hands-on expertise:
  • .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web APIs, Microservices architecture
  • Angular
• Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SQL Server
• Solid understanding of system design and distributed systems
• Demonstrated significant contribution to AI-driven application development, such as:
  • Designing and implementing AI-powered features within products
  • Integrating ML models / AI APIs into production systems
  • Building or contributing to intelligent workflows (decisioning, automation, predictions)
• Hands-on experience in one or more:
  • Credit risk modeling/underwriting automation
  • Fraud detection systems
  • Customer analytics/recommendation engines
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools & technologies (Python, TensorFlow, OpenAI APIs, or similar)
• Ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
